Costa Cruises Expands Aegean Sailings from Istanbul for 2027
Costa Cruises has announced its 2027 programme from Istanbul, adding more Aegean sailings and putting a winter Western Mediterranean and Canary Islands itinerary on sale.
From 18 April 2027, the Costa Pacifica will sail a weekly seven-night Greek Islands and Athens cruise from Galataport Istanbul, 28 departures in total. Ports of call include Kavala, Volos, Santorini, Crete and Athens, with Mykonos and Rhodes replacing Volos on later dates.
Turkish guests will find tailored touches on board, including Turkish TV channels, a Turkish Night with Turkish music, Turkish coffee and cuisine, and announcements in Turkish, all on a full-board basis.
Costa Cruises Türkiye GSA Manager Burak Çalışkan said the company aims to bring 'accessible luxury' to more Turkish travellers after expanding its agency network. The move strengthens Istanbul's role as a cruise homeport and adds to a strong year for Turkish cruise tourism, with 1.64 million passenger movements recorded in the first nine months of 2026, including 110,235 in Bodrum.
