Bodrum has welcomed 993,144 foreign visitors between 1 January and 18 October 2026, with 872,144 arriving by air and around 121,000 by cruise ship. Local officials expect the total to pass the one-million mark once other ports are counted.

Hotels that remain open are reporting occupancy of 60–65%, and sea-view rooms are available from around 4,000 TL per night. Bodrum Hoteliers Association (BODER) President Ömer Faruk Dengiz said the United Kingdom remains the top source market, followed by Russia, Poland and Germany, while arrivals from Middle Eastern countries have grown by more than 50%.

The destination's so-called 'yellow summer' (15 September–30 October) is being supported by events such as the Bodrum Half Marathon, The Bodrum Cup and the Bodrum Boat Show. Direct foreign flights are expected to continue until about 5 November, and connecting flights should bring visitors from the UK, Ireland, Japan and South Korea through the winter.

Industry leaders say the focus now turns to 2027, with tourism fairs planned in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Russia and Poland to diversify Bodrum's markets.
