Bodrum's cruise season is still going strong. On 13 October 2026, the Malta-flagged Marella Voyager visited Bodrum for the first time, arriving from Thira in Greece with around 1,850 passengers, mostly British, and 773 crew members.

After customs formalities, guests headed straight into the heart of Bodrum. They strolled through the bazaar and the Kumbahçe area, visited Bodrum Castle and the Ancient Theatre, and some joined boat tours along the beautiful coastline.

The ship then continued its voyage to Souda Port on the island of Crete. The visit adds to a lively autumn for the region, with cruise ships also bringing thousands of visitors to neighbouring Marmaris.

It is another sign that Bodrum remains a favourite Mediterranean stop well beyond the summer months, with mild weather, historic sights and a warm welcome for international guests.
