Istanbul Airport Named World's Best Airport by Condé Nast Traveller Readers

Istanbul Airport (IGA) has been voted the 'World's Best Airport' in the Condé Nast Traveller 2026 Readers' Choice Awards, scoring 94.29 points and placing ahead of Singapore Changi and Dubai International.
The award highlights the airport's role as a global hub: it is Europe's largest Star Alliance hub, connects hundreds of nonstop destinations and handles tens of millions of passengers a year. Its intuitive terminal layout, digital wayfinding, accessibility services and sustainable design have drawn praise from travellers.
Turkish hospitality is also part of the experience, from Turkish coffee prepared in hot sand to regional cuisine, bazaar-style shops and an on-site museum of Anatolian history.
For international guests heading to Bodrum, a smooth connection through Istanbul is a strong first impression of Türkiye.
