Costa Cruises has announced an expanded 2027 programme with more departures from Istanbul. From 18 April 2027, the Costa Pacifica will sail 7-night Greek Islands and Athens cruises from Galataport every week, for a total of 28 voyages.

Itineraries include Kavala, Volos, Santorini, Crete and Athens, with Mykonos and Rhodes joining later in the season. Turkish guests will enjoy tailored touches such as Turkish TV channels, Turkish coffee and cuisine, Turkish-language announcements and a Turkish night on board.

Costa Cruises Türkiye GSA Manager Burak Çalışkan said the aim is to bring cruising to more Turkish travellers through 'accessible luxury'. The company also expects around 10,000 Turkish passengers across its programmes.

Growing cruise interest strengthens Istanbul's position as a cruise gateway and supports the wider Aegean tourism region, including Bodrum.
