Bodrum and the United Kingdom Strengthen Tourism Ties

The UK's newly appointed Ambassador to Türkiye, Jennifer Anderson, has visited Bodrum Municipality to discuss deepening tourism relations between the two countries.

Received by Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci together with her delegation, the ambassador exchanged views on British holidaymakers' experiences in Bodrum and on ways to further raise visitor satisfaction. Strengthening Bodrum's position in international tourism and meeting the expectations of British guests were key topics of the meeting.

Mayor Mandalinci said the aim is to improve the experience of visitors arriving from the UK, boost their satisfaction and keep strengthening the bond between Bodrum and its guests.

As the UK is one of Bodrum's most important source markets, the meeting is a positive signal for travellers, and for couples planning weddings and celebrations on the Aegean coast.
