Antalya has kicked off October with impressive momentum, achieving occupancy rates exceeding 80% and reinforcing Turkey's position as a year-round tourism destination. This strong performance extends well beyond the traditional summer season, showcasing the region's growing appeal for autumn and winter travelers.

The city is strategically positioning itself to break new records during the upcoming winter season by focusing on two key sectors: sports tourism, particularly football training camps, and congress tourism. This diversified approach attracts visitors from major European markets including Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Poland.

According to AKTOB (Mediterranean Touristic Hoteliers Association) officials, Antalya has successfully transformed into a 12-month tourism destination. The region's mild winter climate, world-class facilities, and competitive pricing make it an attractive alternative to traditional European winter destinations.

This sustained tourism growth demonstrates Turkey's successful strategy of diversifying its tourism offerings beyond beach holidays. By developing sports facilities, conference centers, and cultural attractions, Antalya continues to attract international visitors throughout the year, contributing significantly to Turkey's tourism revenue and employment in the hospitality sector.
